Ingredients

2 cups organic rolled oats
1.5 cups organic steel-cut oats
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
3–4 tbsp grass-fed butter or coconut oil
1/4 cup coconut sugar or maple syrup
1/4 cup chia seeds
1–2 scoops collagen peptides

Directions
Bring 96 ounces of filtered water to a boil. Keep covered.
While waiting for it to boil, add the salt, cinnamon, ginger, and butter or coconut oil.
Once boiling, add the oats and slowly stir in the chia seeds to avoid clumping.
Reduce heat to low and simmer with the lid on for 30–35 minutes.
Turn off the heat. It may seem a bit runny, but that’s okay.
Stir in berries, bananas, raisins, or other mix-ins.
Let cool slightly before storing in 16- or 32-ounce containers.
